What does LaunchAI actually do?

LaunchAI is the AI delivery arm of MCI. We staff and run AI initiatives end-to-end — picking the right models, building agents and integrations, and operating them in production. You can hire individual AI engineers, prompt engineers, and ML ops talent, or buy a full crew that ships a defined initiative on a fixed timeline.

How fast can a crew start?

Most crews kick off in 7–14 days from contract. We pre-vet talent on the bench, so once your initiative is scoped we match crew members against role, sector, and seniority — not against a months-long recruiting funnel.

What does it cost to launch an AI initiative?

Pricing is published transparently as Flight Tiers on our pricing page. Staffed crews are billed by role and country (US, EU, PH, BR). Managed delivery is a fixed monthly investment tied to a defined initiative. Most production AI pilots land between $15k and $80k per month depending on crew size and scope.

Do I own the IP, models, and prompts?

Yes. Everything we build inside your initiative — agents, prompts, evals, integrations, fine-tunes — is yours. We document and hand over the full repo and runbooks at launch.

Which AI models and providers do you work with?

Model-agnostic by default. We work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini), Meta (Llama), Mistral, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and open-source models hosted on your infra. Model selection is part of the launch plan, not a fixed assumption.

How is LaunchAI different from a typical AI consulting firm?

Consultants hand you a deck. We ship working systems. Our crews include builders (engineers and prompt engineers), not just strategists, and we operate what we launch — including on-call, evals, and ongoing tuning.

Can you augment our existing in-house AI team?

Yes. Staff augmentation is a common pattern — we plug vetted AI engineers, ML ops, and prompt engineers into your existing team and standards. You manage them; we handle bench, replacement, and ongoing skill development.

What sectors do you specialize in?

Customer experience (support, sales, retention), back-office operations, fintech and insurance workflows, healthcare admin, and B2B SaaS product features. Our parent company MCI brings 20+ years of BPO and CX domain depth into every engagement.

How do you handle data security and compliance?

We run inside your tenancy when needed (Azure, AWS, GCP), sign BAAs and DPAs, and support SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR-aligned deployments. PII handling, prompt logging, and retention policies are agreed before crew launch.

What happens after a crew launches?

Two options. (1) Hand off — we transition to your team with documentation and a 30-day shadow period. (2) Operate — we keep running, monitoring, and improving the system month over month against agreed SLAs and outcome metrics.

Do you work with startups or only enterprises?

Both. Most engagements are mid-market and enterprise (200–50,000+ employees), but we also run focused, smaller initiatives for funded startups when the use case is well-defined.
